Dr. Mehran Azar, General Practitioner
Reliable & Compationate Dentist
Dr. Mehran Azar is experienced in general dentistry, cosmetic, restorative, and dental implants. He is certified Invisalign and Lumineer veneers provider. Dr. Azar received his Bachelors of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Miami and his Doctor of Dental Surgery(DDS) from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in the City of New York. He completed a General Practice Residency at the prestigious Hackensack University Medical Center. 
Dr. Azar was a recipient of the Clark Foundation Scholarship, the Ash B. Merit Scholarship and numerous other honors during his education. He was a consulting dentist for MetLife Insurance Company and in private practice in the New York area before joining Connecticut Dental Group. Dr. Azar has been serving Bridgeport and Trumbull area for more than 19 years. He also has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association(CSDA).

Fara Vossughi, DDS, MS, Periodontist

Dr. Vossughi is a specialist in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. She is a graduate of Columbia University, School of Dental Medicine with DDS and Master of Science degree in Periodontics in 2001 and 2003 respectively. She has done extensive research in Diabetes and Periodontal disease and has published several papers and frequently lectures on the topic of periodontics and implant dentistry. Her research Master’s Thesis has been published in the prestigious Journal of Clinical Periodontology in 2006. She has completed a 
one-year residency in Implant Dentistry with honors in 2005 at the Center for Implants and Esthetics and Zimmer Dental. 

Prior to relocating to the United States, she attended the University of Frankfurt in Germany, recognized internationally for its high education standards, where she received her dental degree in 1996 magna cum laude. Dr. Vossughi attends many seminars to keep up-to-date with the rapidly advancing technology and implant dentistry. She is an active member of the Columbia University Study Club. She has extensive experience and is proficient in the latest techniques of periodontal treatment and implant placement, which enables her to provide the highest level of dental care. She is married, has two children and lives in Westchester, NY.

Dr. Wladimir Gedeon, Oral Surgeon

Dr. Wladimir Gedeon specializes in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Stonybrook University in New York and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS, from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.
Dr. Gedeon received his training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and has been practicing in Connecticut for the past seven years. Dr. Gedeon is a member of the following professional organizations: Past President and Member of the Greater Danbury Dental Society and an American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He was selected as one of the top dentists in 2009 by Connecticut Magazine. Dr. Gedeon’s area of expertise is in dental implants and pre-prosthetic surgery, including soft tissue and bone grafting techniques. Dr. Gedeon is married with three children and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and reading in his free time.
